Aloe Vera Recipes :-
Aloe Vera is a succulent plant with various health benefits associated with it. It is well-known for its medicinal properties, cooling and healing effects. So here are some aloe vera recipes that are not only tasty, but healthy also.
The Aloe Vera plant belongs to the species A.vera and originated in Northern Africa, Madagascar, and the Arabian Peninsula. It grows well in arid climates and is commonly used in herbal medicines. Aloe Vera is the juice which is extracted from the leaves of the plant. It is rich in compounds like polysaccharides, mannans, anthraquinones and lectin, which are helpful in treating diabetes and elevating blood lipids in the human body. It also helps clean out the mucous in the body and regular intake of aloe vera juice prevents constipation.
Aloe vera has amazing cooling and healing effects, especially for sunburns. It is commonly used by women as it helps smoothen out wrinkles and remove any marks. If applied on the scalp, it prevents dandruff and other such conditions. It gives your face a smoother, softer and radiant look.
Green Smoothie :-
Ingredients:
2-4 oz of aloe vera juice
1½ tsp maca
1 tbsp bee pollen
1 tsp 2000mg vitamin C crystals with Rosehips
1-2 tbsp glucosamine, chondroitin & MSM liquid
2 tbsp of ground flaxseed
Directions : Blend all the ingredients and serve chilled. You can also add variations to your smoothie by adding fruits like mango, pineapple, pear and banana.
Healing Blueberry Aloe Smoothie:-
Ingredients:
1 cup orange juice
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup aloe vera gel
Directions: Blend all the ingredients well and serve chilled.
Aloe Vera Fresh and Fruity :-
Ingredients:
1 serving vanilla flavor meal replacement formula
15-20ml aloe vera concentrate
3 dried apricots
100g (3slices) pineapple
100ml unsweetened orange juice
150ml water
Directions: In a blender, add all the ingredients and 3-4 ice cubes. Blend well and enjoy.
Aloe Vera Healthy and Heavenly:-
Ingredients:
1 serving low calorie vanilla protein mix
30gms low fat cream cheese
1 serving strawberry flavor meal replacement formula
15-20ml aloe vera concentrate
125ml water
Directions: In a blender, add all the ingredients and 3-4 ice cubes. Blend well and enjoy.
Aloe Vera Chocolate and Banana:-
Ingredients
1 serving chocolate flavor meal replacement formula
250ml skim milk, low fat chocolate milk or soya milk
1 serving protein powder
1 banana
15ml of aloe vera concentrate
Directions: In a blender, add all the ingredients and 3-4 ice cubes. Blend well and enjoy.
Aloe Vera Apply Cucumber Juice:-
Ingredients
2 tbsp liquid aloe vera (extracted from leaves)
1 apple
1 cucumber
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Directions:Slice the cucumber and apple into small pieces and put in a blender. Add lemon juice and aloe vera to it. Blend well and serve chilled.
Aloe Vera Orange Juice:-
Ingredients:
3-5 Oranges
Aloe vera leaves
Fruit juice or water
Direction:Split the leaves into halves and scoop the gel from the center of the leaves. In a blender, put the aloe vera gel and add oranges to it. Blend the mixture for about 2-3 minutes and strain the juice. Place the juice in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours and dilute the mixture with fruit juice or water. Serve chilled.
